One product.
One page. No duplicates.
Most marketplaces let the same bike exist eleven times, described eleven ways, because each seller types it in again. AGORA starts from the opposite end: the product page comes from the catalogue, and the offers attach to it.
A marketplace on top of
a real catalogue.
The difference is not the storefront, it is what sits underneath it. Every listing resolves to a product that already exists in the vertical’s catalogue, which is what makes search, comparison and price history mean anything at all.
Product pages are generated, not typed
A product page is built from the normalised catalogue of the vertical, not written by whoever listed it first. So the same component has one page, one spelling and one set of attributes, whoever is selling it.
How the catalogue works →Businesses and riders, new and used
Shops and brands publish commercial listings; private riders publish their own. Both attach to the same product page instead of creating a parallel one, so a buyer sees the real offers on a thing rather than a search result of near-duplicates.
How the catalogue works →One product, one category
The layout is rigorous on purpose: a product belongs to exactly one category. It is a constraint sellers occasionally argue with, and the reason browsing the catalogue does not degrade into noise as it grows.
How the catalogue works →Who publishes what
You are not filling in a product form. You are attaching an offer to a product page that already exists — which is faster for you, and comparable for whoever is buying.
Shops
Commercial listings for new stock, and used items taken in trade. The shop is identified as the seller; the product description is not theirs to write.
Brands
Listings and visibility on the catalogue pages of their own products, described the way the brand’s own data says they are.
Riders
Private listings for used equipment, attached to the same product pages the trade uses — which is what makes a used price mean something.
Buyers
One page per product, with the real offers on it. Discovery and purchase in the same place, rather than a search that returns the same bike eleven times.
The marketplace is already running.
AGORA has been operating on the Italian market since 2021. Go and look at it — or write to us if you want to sell on it.
